The Salvation Army Call to Prayer line for August 2, 2010.

“Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.”Ephesians 6:18

1. Pray for the 33 Chilean Miners who may be trapped in the mine for several months.

2. Pray for General Shaw Clifton and for a complete healing after his recent heart by-pass surgery.

3. Pray for our President, and our country’s leaders. And pray for the protection of our military men and women and their families as they serve the cause of freedom. Keep them safe and bring them home.

4. Pray for The Salvation Army and our Leaders: General Shaw and Commissioner Helen Clifton, International and National Leaders, our Western Territorial leaders, Commissioners James and Carolyn Knaggs, Colonels William and Susan Harfoot, the THQ Cabinet and Staff, Divisional Leaders, ARC Officers, your Corps Officers, the Cadets and our Employees.

5. Pray the family of Major C. Joe Murray who lost a niece in a motor home fire in Fairbanks, Alaska, for complete healing for Kimberly, daughter of Lt. Colonels Pam and Ron Strickland, receiving chemo treatment in Australia; Pray for healing of Major Frank Severs of Red Bluff; Pray for 12 year old Anthony Ray Covarrubias Noriega, being treated for seizures; Pray for a kidney donor for Claire Woods, Hawaii Advisory Board member, and leader; Continue to pray for Captain Les Spousta’s family, several medical concerns; Pray for Major Ruth Scott’s father; for Sherry; for Chris’s grandmother; for Linda, tumor surgery; for Judy, radiation treatment; for Major Jeanin Hartt’s mother, Ruby healing of her eye; for Suzie, Major Harts daughter in hospital with blood infections;

6. Many Praise Reports on the progress of Josh in his fight against Cancer. He is in Remission!

7. Pray for the whole ARC Program, including Administrative staff, employees, beneficiaries, volunteers, donors and shoppers that God will bless.

Pray for Nancy Steriotis, God’s healing and comforting, For Major Ivy Hood, for Major Doug Riley, successful chemo treatments; for Rex K.C. treatment for prostate cancer; Paul with heart and breathing problems; Gary, Cancer; Colleen, breathing problems; Ed, Chemo; Fred, Prostrate cancer, Priscilla’s mother; Jane Brown; Larry and Daniel Halverson; Barbara Johnson of Sedona; Greg Klotz; Mary Kyle; for Dave Marquez; for Sarah, age 8, to have surgery; Gail Stewart, healing surgery; Robert Negron; for Jennifer R and her husband; Majors John & Patricia Rhemick’s daughter, Kathleen Wreath;
