The Salvation Army Call to Prayer line for March 3, 2010.
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land” 2 Chron 7:14.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old has gone, the new has come” 2 Cor 5:17
1. Pray for the victims of the terrible earthquakes in Chile and Haiti and for Salvation Army workers and others who are providing needed assistance to help the victims of the earthquake disasters.
2. “Buddhist extremists in India burned down 20 churches this past week. They plan to
destroy 200 churches in the province of Olisabang. Christians are hiding in villages.
Pray for their safety and a peaceful end!”
2. Pray for President Obama, and both houses of Congress, that they will reconcile their differences and pass needed Health Care legislation. There are no easy solutions. Pray that they will be given divine guidance!
3. Pray for the men and women of our Military serving the cause of peace in so many parts of the world be kept safe. Encourage their families, who also give great personal sacrifices. Comfort those who have lost loved ones.
4. Pray for every Salvation Army leader around the world: For General Shaw and Commissioner Helen Clifton, Commissioners Gaither; International Leaders, for our Western Territorial leaders; Commissioners Philip and Patricia Swyers, Colonels William and Susan Harfoot, THQ Cabinet and Staff, Divisional Leaders, ARC Officers, Corps Officers, Cadets and Employees. Pray for officers who are receiving Farewell Orders. God Bless The Salvation Army!

Pray for those in need of God’s healing touch: For Loretta, of Las Vegas, for her surgery and healing on March 19; Chris, of Bournemouth, England prayers for healing his heart and circulation condition;; for Rosa, mother of a Phoenix ARC beneficiary, who is unwell, for Major Kay Stoops receiving intensive care treatment; Major Sheila Bradley, in hospital for treatment for skin complications; Daniel Halverson due for heart surgery; Pat Riley, kidney surgery; A/Captain Elsie Lantz; Majors John & Patricia Rhemick’s daughter, Kathleen Wreath; Major Robert Smith; Brett & Lorena Strickland; Captain Tom Fenton; Capt Ron McKinney; for Jane Brown; Diane Hermosillo’s Grandmother, Velma, 100 years old has lung problem; Jennifer R and her husband; for Major Dennis and Diana Trimmer; for Major Jerry Ames; Captain Spousta, waiting for back surgery.
6. Pray for: nine week old Karnia Grace Smith, of Kentucky suffering intestinal problems.
